Get involved
JC Maps grows with what neighbors and local organizers share. You don't need an account—or a technical background—to help.
Put an event on the map
Organizing something, seen a flyer around town, or a café board full of them? A photo is enough. Tap the plus on the map or send a photo of a flyer—or the whole board. JC Maps looks for each event and checks its details before they appear.
No account or email required. If you leave an email for an update, it isn't shown publicly.
Help moderate events
Passionate about community work? I'd love to hear from neighbors who want to help keep JC Maps accurate and useful. As a volunteer moderator, you could help review event submissions and flag details that need a closer look.
Suggest a calendar
Know a local website, calendar or newsletter we're missing? A good source can bring dozens of events to the map. We add information from publicly shared sources, or with the organizer's permission.
Run a venue or community group?
Everything for organizers is on one page: how to put your events on the map, and your link, QR code and poster to share them.
Have an idea for JC Maps?
I'm also interested in the wider civic-tech community in Jersey City: small projects that make city life easier to explore and help neighbors connect. If you'd like to collaborate or have an idea, I'd like to hear it.
